After spending five years tied to a tree, Bo was happy to be rescued and walk in freedom with his master. Hence...

Mac is a dog's dog. He's never caught wind of a rotting carcass that he didn't want to wallow in. Here's...
We want the same things Bo and Mac want: to walk in freedom and to be forgiven in spite of our wrong-doing. Bo and Mac found unconditional love in a permanent loving home with us.
You'll find unconditional love and a permanent loving home with your Good Master, too.

I just finished reading "Happy Tails" and wanted to tell you that I loved it. Your analogies are great, and I can really relate to some of the problems you've had with your dogs. I hope you'll write more books like this. Linda Winters, Coffee County Public Library, Tennessee

Happy Tails is indeed a masterpiece….I did not stop reading til I finished it. I absolutely loved it and heartily recommend it to anyone who has any interest in dogs. Linda creatively weaves many insightful Happy Tails into the context of the book that support God’s infinite love for us as His children and how He guides, directs and teaches us as we respond to Him. Doris Higgins Shelton, Ph.D. Tennessee

My oldest daughter gave my your book, Happy Tails for Christmas... As you can see, I have a beautiful Dalmatian named Disney... I want you to know that your book is helping me very much through the terribly difficult decision to end 14 year old Disney's suffering. I deeply appreciate your book, and most especially the spiritual sharing and comfort.Your brother in Christ, Dave Quick, Indiana

I recently purchased Happy Tails at Barnes & Nobles while my husband was in the hospital. I sat in the surgical waiting area while he was in surgery and started reading your book. I sat there and cried, laughed and giggled. I kept thinking what are these people around me thinking!
Your book was such a delight and joy to my soul at a time when I needed it. I have since finished your book and have been telling others about it. I have worked with rescue for years. My husband & I have both been very active in rescue work and I could relate to many of the events in your book. As a Christian I really enjoyed the inspirational stories. I have never really related the cute & sometimes mischievous adventures of our dogs to the way God looks at us. It is so true that we are so much like man's best friend but sometimes much worse. I am so glad that we have such a loving Father who has so much grace & mercy on us! I just wanted to let you know that your book was very uplifting and a blessing. I am sure that God will use this book to touch many lives. I know it has touched mine. God Bless! S. C. Elkin, NC

Linda, I loved "Happy Tails" sooo much. I read parts of it to my husband who has a little talk show on the radio. I suggested he give out the recipe for deskunking your puppy. He did!! We have already had requests to repeat it. We have a lot of skunks in Louisiana, I guess. It is a wonderful uplifting story and I miss miss miss my doggie every single day since her death. Your story made me laugh and cry, but only tears of joy. I can tell we are of the same brain when it comes to our pets. I will subscribe to your blog and will keep in touch. Best wishes for a completely wonderful fulfilling walk with God through what will definitely be a best-selling writer's career. Linda
P.S. The whole story is so wonderful I need a little time to adapt it to a 15 min lesson/talk when I am the event leader at a group of Baptist women called "Tapestry". I personally am Episcopalian, but I've joined this Baptist group, too. They are wonderful Christian women who have a lot of fun together....and they accept me!!! They will love it when I tell them about your book and the lessons we can learn from God through our animal friends. Thank you soooooo much.
Linda, Louisiana

"I couldn't put Happy Tails down! I read it to my nieces and they absolutely loved it. Keep up the good work!" Amber, Tennessee

I just read your book Happy Tails and I can't tell you how much I loved it. I couldn't put the book down. It made me cry, it made me laugh and it made me remember and cherish the times I had with all my dogs especially Becky Sue the Old English Sheepdog that my husband and I rescued.
It also is a great book to bring our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ front and center and closer to our hearts. It made me see where I need to pray and cling more to Him.
Thank you so much for writing that book and sharing your life with Bo & Mac. I pray more people will read it not to only heal their souls for their lost pets, but also for a healing touch of Jesus. God Bless You. Janet, New York

Sam chauffeured me on his business trip this week so I took Happy Tails along. It was a wonderful travel companion...had me wanting a dog again after years of only having outdoor cats. It reawakened the old love of having a pet to hold and cuddle (we had small indoor dogs when I was growing up). I loved your correlation of God and us with us and our pets. You writing was right on target. I loved your short chapters and format with Scripture and quotes. And I was glad to see your "skunk" recipe again that you sent by email several years ago. I had almost forgotten it, but now I know where to find it on my bookshelf whenever it is immediately needed!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the first several stories in your book. I want to read the rest when I am not so pushed. You did good, girl! It is a wonderful book. I enjoy reading each story and you did such a good job bringing my thoughts to God. I pray many read it. Lester, Georgia

Thank you so much for my autographed copy of "Happy Tails"! I absolutely love it! I started reading and could not put it down. Your stories make me feel as though I am right there witnessing every detail of each story…then when you express how each one relates to our relationship with Christ, it makes me really think and pray about my relationship with Christ. I’m so blessed to have you as a friend and Sister in Christ! Jerri, Georgia

After the first few 'tails' I began to think this book was more for dog lovers and typical Linda 'tails.' As I read on, it became obvious that you started writing this book and the Holy spirit took over and finished it as the 'tails' became life lessons of spiritual growth that all of us could learn from. I love how God used you, your dogs, the love you share, and your talents as tools to illustrate His word is true and faithful no matter who the characters are. The lessons are for everyone. Diana, Georgia
(Note: The Holy Spirit provided the illustrations as well as the applications.)

Happy Tails is wonderful! Even though I know all about Bo and Mac, it's like it's all new again. You are an amazing author. I'm really very impressed by your work. It truly is a wonderful book. I'm compiling a list of folks who will be gifted. Susan, North Carolina

Girl, your book is top notch! Oh Linda, I sat down and read it in one sitting. I don’t know how long it’s been since I have sat there and laughed and cried and smiled and felt so warm in all my life. That’s incredible, girl. You did good. Yep. My tail's waggin'! Christi, South Carolina

I was touched by the wonderful spiritual truths that you got across in such a unique way. I had to continue reading because of the stories about your dogs but I was also blessed by the concepts that you presented in relating to our Master.
I will go back later and read the book devotionally and meditate on each truth so that I will become more like my Master would have me be. I thought and hoped I would be doing a better job of that by now in my life. In the meantime, I have to let Fred have his turn to read the book.
Thank you so very much for our very own autographed copy. I'm already thinking of people I will enjoy giving a copy of your book. Marjorie, Georgia
