Linda, how exciting to "see you" and to learn that we share Christ as Savior and Lord...it is obvious that the years since DB have been busy and fulfilling for you as they have for me. One of my long-standing memories of you is that I have the Lenox china pattern that for some reason you ended up not deciding to use after J. Fred Johnson's dept. store had ordered it for you. When Randall Shelton and I decided on a wedding date, the consultant said there would not be time b-4 the wedding to get a supply of china from the company, but that yours was available. That made the decision an easy one for me and we have enjoyed it since 1965. You probably recall Randall who lived next to the Worley's. We live in Morristown and have a daughter and son and each have 2 children. If I can find an extra copy of last yr's C'mas letter, I will send you one, which has a picture and update on our family. I need your mailing address, Lada is writing a book...perhaps if you find yourself in this area, you two can meet. Also, when I write, I will enclose a check to purchase a copy of the dog book. Linda, thank you so much for writing this book. Your gift of taking us from the zany life of being dog owners (or dog-owned) to the revelation of God's love for us is amazing. I think you and your husband have a much higher level of patience than most of us, considering all the antics that you had to clean up after. You gave your Bo a rich, wonderful second chance. I'm sure he'll thank you in heaven. (I do believe they go to heaven as noted in Rom. 8:19-22.) Please keep writing more dog devos. I'll be letting my 11-year old borrow this one. I loved your book happy tails. I want to read more like them. I loved the easiness of the reading, I couldn't get enough of the scriptures that were used. We have a dog he is 17 months old. I never owned a dog before and hadn't any idea what love they provide. They all laugh at me when I say I love my dog. Thank you for writing such a beautiful book!! Mary Rose Sweger
